«Amoureux grave» is the young adult novel by Elisabeth Brami and Philippe Lopparelli, published by Thierry Magnier Editions in paperback (144 pages).
Facing a blank screen, the protagonist receives a photograph in response. Gradually, a silent dialogue is established with a correspondent who accepts the rules of the game: neither blind nor illiterate, he responds only with images. The narrative, constructed as a photo novel, combines text and photography to tell this increasingly exciting exchange.
«Amoureux grave» was published in April 2008, is written in French, and carries the subtitle «photo roman» on the cover.
Aimed at young readers aged 15 and up, especially those who enjoy stories told through images.
