«Amunt i avall» is the children's picture book by Jo Lodge, published by Edicions Baula in hardcover (24 pages, in Catalan).
Mr Croc, a very active crocodile, guides little ones in discovering opposites: up and down, hot and cold, happy or sad. The book presents everyday situations with flaps and colourful pop-up elements, and each scene ends with a fun, unexpected twist.
Part of the Mr Croc collection, where this volume is presented as «El senyor Coc i els contraris». The work was originally published as «Up and Down» (Hodder Children's Books, 2006).
Aimed at babies and young children from 10 months, and suitable for working on first concepts in early childhood education.
Joanna Lodge is a retired British long-distance runner. She represented Great Britain in the Marathon at the 2003 World Championships in Athletics and in the 1999 edition of the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships.
