«Anima mundi» is the novel by Susanna Tamaro, published by Seix Barral in paperback (288 pages, in Spanish).
Walter settles in Rome after a rural adolescence, where he faces complicated family relationships and friendships that fade. The search for a lost friend and for the certainty he once knew places him before ethical and historical dilemmas. The novel contrasts his fate with Andrea's and alludes to the duality of spirit and matter.
It belongs to the Biblioteca Breve collection. Translated by Atilio Pentimalli Melacrino; it is Susanna Tamaro's first novel after Donde el corazón te lleve.
