In 'Animals de companyia', Estel Solé Casadellà presents a play in Catalan where a group of friends gathers to celebrate Beth's return after being hospitalized for a psychiatric disorder. The surprise party takes an unexpected turn when a secret comes to light, unearthing conflicts and testing the bonds of friendship and sincerity. With a realistic comedy tone, the play explores themes of loneliness, the need for affection, and how egos and envies can transform people into 'companion animals'.
