«Anna» is the children's novel by Maria Lluïsa Solà, illustrated by Isidre Monés, published by La Galera in paperback (160 pages, in Catalan).
The protagonist, Anna, spends her vacation at her aunt and uncle's house without much enthusiasm and tells her friend Núria everything by letter: what she sees, what she thinks and what she does. Nothing extraordinary happens, but the little stories of her daily life are pleasant, often funny and sometimes moving, told in a direct and sincere style.
It belongs to the Grumets collection, green series, number 27, and won the Premi Josep M. Folch i Torres 1972.
For children and young readers aged 10 to 12, especially if they are looking for everyday stories told with closeness and simplicity.
Isidre Monés Pons, also Isidro Monés is a Spanish comic book artist.
