«Anna Bruixa» is the children's fantasy novel by Madeleine Edmondson, published by La Galera in paperback (104 pages, in Catalan).
Anna lives with her mother, who is also a witch, and with an old, wise owl. Her mother must teach her the whole craft of witchcraft, but the girl finds studying and practicing spells very tedious, so she does it half-heartedly and masters it only partially. That attitude will bring her more than one problem.
Ninth volume of the Grumets series, in its red series, with illustrations by Joan Antoni Poch and translation by Elisabet Abeyà from English. First edition 1993.
Recommended for readers aged 8 to 10, especially for those who read in Catalan and enjoy fantasy stories.
