Professor Ueno brings home a puppy thinking of his daughter, but the strongest bond ends up being between him and the dog, whom they call Hachiko. Every morning the animal accompanies his owner to the station and every afternoon waits for his return. That daily routine becomes a story of unbreakable friendship and loyalty.
«Hachiko. El gos que esperava» belongs to the Grumets collection (Sèrie blava), number 247, and includes illustrations by Zuzanna Celej. The book won the Premi Josep M. Folch i Torres 2014 and the Premio Strega Ragazzi 2018.
Set within children's and young adult literature, it is intended for readers aged 12 to 14, especially those who appreciate stories about the loyalty of dogs.
