«Años de perro» is a novel by Günter Grass published by FisicalBook in paperback (636 pages, in Spanish).
Three narrators —Herr Brauxel, Harry Liebenau and Walter Matern— tell the story of Eduard Amsel, a scarecrow maker, and his friendship with Matern from childhood by the Vistula. The action spans Nazi Germany and the postwar period: the dog Prinz links the narratives, and Matern embarks on a revenge tour through the rebuilt country.
Third installment of Günter Grass's Danzig Trilogy, originally published in 1963 under the title Hundejahre.
Recommended for readers of twentieth-century European fiction who want to complete the Danzig Trilogy.
