«Antes de que se enfríe el café» is the fantasy novel by Toshikazu Kawaguchi, published by DEBOLSILLO in paperback (272 pages, in Spanish).
In a small Tokyo café, rumor has it that a certain chair allows travel to the past. There are rules: you cannot leave the premises, you must return before the coffee gets cold, and the present does not change. Four customers with very different reasons dare to try it in a novel about love, loss, and hope.
First installment of the series «Antes de que se enfríe el café», a novel based on Kawaguchi's同名 play, translated by Marta Morros Serret.
A read for those who enjoy magical realism and emotional stories about second chances.
