Following the hardcover release of the miniseries centered on Rorschach, this volume continues the 'Before Watchmen' reissue. Writer Brian Azzarello and artist J. G. Jones explore the controversial figure of Edward Morgan Blake, known as 'The Comedian', a character who shoots his way through 20th-century American history, leaving a trail of blood and fire in his wake. This story delves into his murky relationship with the Kennedys and his involvement in the Vietnam War, offering a raw look at a life marked by infamy, leading directly into the events of the classic graphic novel 'Watchmen'.
