«Antología de España» is José Luis Herrera's photographic anthology, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardcover (272 pages, in Spanish).
A journey through Spain via texts and images covering its geography, culture and people. José Luis Herrera's selection shows the country's variety and richness without reducing it to clichés, with a gaze both meticulous and overarching, realistic and imaginative.
Published in 1982, it brings together photographs by Josip Ciganovic and a foreword by Julián Marías.
For readers interested in Spanish geography and culture and in photography as a portrait of a country.
