«Antología poética» is an anthology of poems by Juan Alcaide Sánchez, published by Doncel in 1976 in paperback (372 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together poems that portray life in La Mancha: the vastness of its fields around Valdepeñas, the roads, the sun and the human side of everyday life. Alcaide, a poet from La Mancha, seeks to capture the essence of that land with a close, unadorned tone, while allowing a mystery to emerge that pulses in the landscape and its horizons.
For readers of Spanish poetry who want to discover the voice of a poet from La Mancha and the literary landscape of La Mancha.
