«Apple Fractions» is a children's math book by Jerry Pallotta, published by Cartwheel Books in paperback (32 pages, in English).
The book uses apples to teach fractions visually: it shows how to divide them into halves, thirds, quarters, and more, and poses simple sums like 1/2 + 1/2 = 1. Elves accompany the explanations, and readers discover varieties such as Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Granny Smith, and Cortland.
Rob Bolster is the illustrator. The book belongs to the Jerry Pallotta Math Books series, and the recommended reading age is 5 to 8 years.
For young elementary-school readers approaching fractions for the first time, also as a resource in math class.
