A Clockwork Orange is the story of Alex, a young delinquent who leads a gang dedicated to extreme violence in the suburbs. After being betrayed by his own companions, Alex is subjected to a controversial re-education treatment that leaves him at the mercy of his former victims, raising profound dilemmas about free will and morality. This edition includes a valuable introduction by the author, Anthony Burgess, and an interview with director Stanley Kubrick, who adapted the work for the screen.
