«Arte de las putas» is the erotic poem by Nicolás Fernández de Moratín, published by Brontes Ediciones in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).
Written in 1777, this extensive poem recreates eighteenth-century Madrid nights as an anecdotal account of real prostitutes, mentioned by their nicknames, and was banned by the Inquisition. With irony and advice, it offers a sarcastic apology of the trade, far from the idealized eroticism of other classics.
Complete edition with illustrations, prologue and presentation by Francesc Ll. Cardona; Fontana's Literatura Universal collection, series C, no. 75.
For readers of eighteenth-century Spanish poetry and literature interested in satirical and erotic works that are far from idealized.

Nicolás Fernández de Moratín (1737–1780) was the father of one of the most important Spanish writers and dramatists of the neoclassical era, Leandro Fernández de Moratín. He himself was involved in the Spanish literary movement of the day and heavily influenced his son. He wrote Arte de las putas, a poem, and La petimetra, a new comedy. He was also a member of the Tertulia de la Fonda de San Sebastián where he met famous authors like José Cadalso and Tomás de Iriarte.
