«Arte en acción» is a children's art activity book by Maja Pitamic, published by Editorial Acanto in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).
The book proposes creative projects inspired by 21 masterpieces to bring children closer to art; it tells the stories of each work and encourages experimenting with new materials. For example, a cave painting inspired by Van der Schley, a pop version of Manet's Balcony, a snow globe with Avercamp, and a 3D jungle according to Rousseau.
The paperback edition with flaps includes color illustrations and photographs and an introduction by Grant Rogers, from the National Gallery (United Kingdom).
Intended for those who wish to bring children closer to art through hands-on activities and creative projects together.
