«Arthur the Kid & Buffalo Arthur» is the children's story collection of the Wild West by Alan Coren, published in paperback by Chrysalis Children's Books.
It brings together two humorous Wild West adventures starring Arthur. In the first, the boy leads a gang of outlaws and faces three bearded men, an iron hand and a faint in a cave; in the second, cowboys wait fearfully for the two o'clock train and the sheriff has lost hope.
It collects the two stories from the Arthur Adventures series: «Arthur the Kid» and «Buffalo Arthur». This edition is from 2003.
For children and young readers looking for Wild West adventures with humor and zany characters.
Alan Coren was an English writer, humorist, broadcaster and satirist. He was a regular panellist on the BBC Radio quiz The News Quiz and a team captain on BBC television's Call My Bluff. Coren was the editor of Punch for almost a decade; later, he edited The Listener magazine.
