«Arthur, tome 2: La croisée des chemins» is the fantasy novel by Kevin Crossley-Holland, published by Hachette in paperback, in French.
In the year 1200, Arthur is appointed squire to his uncle, Lord Stephen of Holt. He cannot yet join the crusades: first he must obtain a warhorse, get used to armor and practice combat sports. While he continues to consult his prophetic stone, the visions he receives increasingly reflect his own life, until an unexpected encounter changes everything. Second part of the trilogy, blending medieval adventure and Arthurian legend.
Second volume of the Arthur trilogy, sequel to La pierre prophétique. Original work in English published in 2001 as At the Crossing Places; this French edition is from 2002.
Recommended for young readers aged 12 and up and for those seeking historical fantasy with an Arthurian backdrop.
