«Asdrúbal» is the children's novel by Pablo Schmilovich, with illustrations by Inés Burgos, published by Oxford University Press España in paperback (104 pages, in Spanish).
Marina receives a chest that no one can open; when it opens, Asdrúbal appears, a twelfth-century magician who becomes inseparable from her and her brother Miguel. Although he enjoys novelties like television, he misses his own time and his sister Etelvina, and Marina will help him return to his era. A lively story about the contrast between eras and its consequences.
It belongs to the Camaleón collection, under the Planeta & Oxford imprint, number 20.
Recommended for children readers aged 10 and up, especially if they enjoy fantasy adventures and time travel.
