«Así es la vida, Carlota» is the young adult novel by Gemma Lienas, published by Destino Infantil & Juvenil in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).
In her diary, Carlota recounts the small and big crises of adolescence: tension at home, the confusion of being attracted to two boys at once, a subject she struggles with, and the changes in her body, just when her best friend is focused on her new boyfriend. A relatable story about the daily life of a girl finding her place.
It belongs to the Carlota's Diaries series, within the Punto de encuentro collection.
Recommended for young readers aged 12 and up and for those looking for novels about school, friendship, and first loves.
