«Asociacionismo galego en América» is the essay by Carlos Loureiro Rodríguez published by Editorial Galaxia (180 pages).
It reconstructs the history of the Society of the Sons of the Municipality of La Estrada in Cuba, founded in Havana in 1915 by Galician emigrants. It places this entity within the Galician associative movement in the Americas and also examines the Galician Center and Daughters of Galicia, institutions that supported emigrants and maintained the bond with their land.
The work, published in 2025, is part of the Memoria collection (No. 57) from Editorial Galaxia.
It will interest those who study Galician emigration, the associative movement in the Americas, and the social history of the diaspora in Cuba.
