In this Astérix album, the Romans devise a plan to conquer the indomitable Gaulish village. To do this, they turn to Latraviata, a beautiful and talented actress, hoping that her charm and acting skills will allow them to infiltrate and sow discord among the Gauls. However, Astérix and Obélix, along with the rest of the village, will not be easily fooled and will do everything possible to thwart the Romans' plans and protect their freedom.
