«Atrapados en Riparia» is the young adult mystery novel by Xosé A. Perozo, published by Algar Editorial in paperback (136 pages, in Spanish).
Writer Simón Carrera spends his summer on the island of Riparia, where echoes of the Civil War and old caciquismo still mark the inhabitants. He soon crosses paths with the ghost of a hanged man, a gateway to a tragic mystery the town prefers to bury and that seems to demand truth.
It is volume 23 of the Algar Joven collection, translated from Galician by Mercedes Pacheco, and was published in February 2006.
A novel suitable for young people aged 13 and up, especially those seeking mystery and suspense with a maritime setting.
