«Ausreden fürs Büro» is Ulla Gast's humor book, published by Eichborn in paperback (61 pages, in German).
A collection of excuses and comic office situations, with pretexts like the one on the cover, where an employee insists his alarm clock didn't go off («Mein Wecker hat verpennt!»). It gathers witty quips to justify lateness, mistakes or absences, with illustrations of humanized animals.
Part of the Eichborn Taschenbücher collection, no. 93. Published in 1988, the work also appears under the title «Mein Wecker hat verpennt».
For readers seeking a short, light-hearted read about the working world, with satirical humor and recognizable office situations.
