«Aydin» is the children's novel by Jordi Sierra i Fabra, published by Edebé in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
The story begins in 1992, when a baby beluga escapes from a laboratory in the Black Sea and reaches a Turkish port. The sailors call it Aydin, which in Turkish means “clarity”. With a poetic style, the narrative recreates its journey towards freedom, in a crossing marked by adventure.
The work belongs to Edebé's Tucán Azul collection (number 44) and was awarded the Edebé Prize for Children's Literature in 1994.
Recommended reading for children aged 8 to 10, especially for those who enjoy stories about animals and adventures.
