«Ayer y hoy. Imágenes de una vida» is a photography book by Bernardo Riego Amézaga, published by Lunwerg Editores in hardcover (272 pages, in Spanish).
The volume's pages juxtapose two visual records of the same public place: an old black-and-white image and a current one in color. Squares, facades and streets appear portrayed before and after, and the comparison shows how the urban landscape and its inhabitants have changed. It is an invitation to observe the transformation of the city.
The volume, measuring 26 x 28 cm, was published on November 26, 2013 and combines color and black-and-white photographs.
Recommended for readers interested in photography, urban history and architecture.
