«Bach» is the biography of the composer Johann Sebastian Bach written by Luis Carlos Gago, published by Alianza in paperback (95 pages, in Spanish).
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) lived far from the great European musical centers, but his works are a pillar of Western music. His life remains shrouded in mystery; twentieth-century research clarified many aspects of his biography and his vast output, and the book briefly reviews them from that perspective.
It is part of the Alianza Cien collection, number 82, and was published in 1995.
For readers who want a first approach to Bach and his music with a brief, up-to-date overview.
