«Bambulo, la crisis» is the children's novel by Bernardo Atxaga, published by Alfaguara in hardcover (152 pages, in Spanish).
Bambulo is a singular dog from an old and respectable family. With his secretary, he reviews his history and faces a crisis that leads him to wonder if the Trojan horse really existed. The humor and absurd situations show the most human side of the protagonist.
«Bambulo, la crisis» is the second installment of the series «Las bambulísticas historias de Bambulo», illustrated by Mikel Valverde.
Recommended for child and young readers, particularly aged 7 to 10, looking for fun and original stories.
Bernardo Atxaga, pseudonym of Joseba Irazu Garmendia, is a Spanish Basque writer and self-translator.
