«Bananus Maximus» is Tim Collins's young adult humor novel, published by Booksmile in paperback (192 pages, in Portuguese).
Bananus Maximus writes a diary to tell of his dream of becoming a great hero and gladiator, though his present is different: his friends laugh at him, his father ignores him, and his mother adores her sacred chickens. Despite everything, he is convinced that a brave warrior lives within him and dreams of proving it in ancient Rome.
«Bananus Maximus» is number 1 in the Dorkius Maximus series; its original English title is 'Diary of Dorkius Maximus'.
For young readers who enjoy humorous diaries like 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' and adventures set in the Roman world.
