«Barcelona, un día» is an anthology of short stories by various authors published by Alfaguara in paperback (480 pages, in Spanish).
An anthology of stories portraying Barcelona from a plural perspective: the tales by different authors turn the city into both setting and protagonist, with snapshots of its urban life. The presentation by Pasqual Maragall, the selection and prologue by Rosa Regàs, and the illustrations by Mariscal frame the volume.
The edition belongs to the Extra Alfaguara series. The book was published on May 4, 1998. Five of the stories are translations from Catalan.
For readers of short fiction and for those seeking a literary approach to Barcelona.
