«Belisario» is the children's story by Gaëtan Dorémus, published by Fondo de Cultura Económica in paperback (40 pages, in Spanish).
Belisario is a baker loved by the village children, who come to his bakery to hear his stories and receive sweets. When the neighbors discover that Belisario is a tiger, they decide to lock him up; the narrative asks whether prejudice can make people forget the kindness of a friend.
Volume 95 of the Los Primerísimos collection. Spanish edition published in 2004 by Fondo de Cultura Económica.
Recommended for children aged 4 and up who are starting to read or learning Spanish.
