«Benezén, el pescador» is the children's book by Jordi Sierra i Fabra, published by SM in paperback (128 pages, in Spanish).
The protagonist, Basaya, is a fisherman in a bay where fish have been scarce for some time. Faced with the lack of catches, he hesitates between continuing his trade as a fisherman and finding another way to earn a living. The story thus poses a dilemma between tradition and change.
Published in 1989, it belongs to the Catamarán collection and includes illustrations by Toño Benavides. It is the 2nd edition.
Aimed at children and young readers, especially those interested in stories about nature, tradition and change.
