«Benito el cerdito» is a children's story by Viviana Valenti, published in 2009 by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in hardcover (24 pages, in Spanish).
Each night, before sleeping, the farm animals look up at the sky, choose the brightest star, and make a wish. The story wonders what Benito the piglet will dream about and what the cow, the donkey, the rabbit, or the hen will wish for.
It belongs to the Libros Para Jóvenes - Libros De Consumo collection. The text and illustrations are by Viviana Valenti; Bruno Dolif is also credited as illustrator. Original title: Gino il maialino.
Aimed at early readers; its bedtime-story tone makes it suitable for reading aloud with young children.
