«Billionaire Boy» is David Walliams's children's novel, published by HarperCollinsChildren'sBooks in paperback (240 pages, in English).
The story follows Joe Spud, a twelve-year-old boy with an immense fortune: he has his own bowling alley, his private movie theater and even an orangutan butler. Despite having everything, he misses the one thing money can't buy: a friend. With absurd situations and a comic tone, it addresses friendship and values beyond wealth.
David Walliams is also the author of 'The Boy in the Dress' and 'Mr Stink'. The black-and-white interior illustrations are by Tony Ross.
Aimed at children aged 9 to 12 who enjoy humorous, absurd stories with a message about friendship.
