«Blaveta» is the children's fantasy book by Angela Nanetti, published by Castellnou Infantil i Juvenil in paperback (52 pages, in Catalan).
It tells the story of Blaveta, daughter of the lady of a castle and Prince Funest: the mother is blonde and sweet, the father is dark, and the girl is so white she frightens. The girl talks to birds and flowers and possesses the gift of healing song; perhaps she can heal her father, turned into a sad and cruel man by a wound.
Fifth title in the Col·lecció Pícnic, with illustrations by Octavia Monaco and translation by Oriol Sánchez.
Recommended for boys and girls aged 8 to 10, especially for those who enjoy fantasy and magical realism.
