In 'Bona sort', Nickolas Butler introduces us to Cole, Bart, and Teddy, childhood friends and owners of a construction company in Wyoming. Their lives take an unexpected turn when a wealthy and enigmatic lawyer proposes a rush job: building a house on the mountain. In return, they will receive an astronomical reward. Despite the harsh winter, the protagonists will risk their friendship and family in pursuit of success. But what is hidden behind this mysterious commission? What motives does the woman have for demanding such an impossible deadline? Butler explores the soul of the characters with a powerful prose and a dizzying rhythm, showing how ambition and greed can destabilize a life.
