«Breve historia de los vikingos» is the historical essay by Jonathan Clements, published by EDB No Ficción in hardcover (352 pages, in Spanish).
Between the 6th and 11th centuries, Scandinavians set out to sail, raid and trade along European coasts, from Newfoundland to Baghdad. The author combines medieval chronicles, sagas and Arab testimonies to approach Viking culture and figures such as the Danish king Harald, whose nickname inspired Bluetooth technology.
The book belongs to the NoFicción/Historia collection, features a translation by Lenguaje Claro Consultora and originally appeared in English in 2005 as «A Brief History of the Vikings».
Suitable for readers approaching Viking history for the first time and seeking an overview.
