In 'Brisingr', Eragon must fulfill two crucial promises: help Roran free his betrothed, Katrina, from the clutches of the Ra'zacs, and avenge the death of his uncle Garrow. Together with Saphira, they venture to Helgrind, the Gates of Death, the home of these monsters. However, after the loss of Zar'oc to Murtagh, Eragon only has the old narrator's staff as a weapon. This third volume of the 'Eragon' saga immerses readers in a fantasy world full of dangers and challenges, where Eragon must overcome his limitations and fulfill his destiny.
