«Brujerías» is the humorous fantasy novel by Terry Pratchett, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardcover (282 pages, in Spanish).
Three witch sisters oppose the kings of Lancre and devise a plan to seize power. While the kingdom's inhabitants get caught up in the tangle, the story combines magic, books and mix-ups, with the ironic humor and satire characteristic of Pratchett about power and ambition.
«Brujerías» is the sixth novel in the Discworld saga; this Spanish edition appeared in 2001 and the translation of the original «Wyrd Sisters» is by Cristina Macía.
«Brujerías» is a read for fans of humorous fantasy, satire and witch stories, and for followers of the Discworld saga.
Sir Terence David John Pratchett was an English author, humorist, and satirist, best known for the Discworld series of 41 comic fantasy novels published between 1983 and 2015, and for the apocalyptic comedy novel Good Omens (1990), which he co-wrote with Neil Gaiman.
