Buena amanecida is a novel by Benito Chereguini that mixes reality and fiction. The author narrates his childhood, his life in the Colegio de Huérfanos de la Armada in Madrid, his stay in the USA as commander of the submarine S-34 Cosme García and the tense hours of 23F in the Submarine Base of Cartagena. The work introduces parallel stories about submarines and commanders with different perspectives on 23F, conveying a message of concord through the protagonist's encounter with the 'messenger of the snow' in the USA.
