«Buenas noches, Darth Vader» is the humorous children's comic by Jeffrey Brown, published by Planeta De Agostini in hardcover (72 pages, in Spanish).
Darth Vader must put his restless twins, Luke and Leia, to bed; they don't want to sleep and ask him to read them a story. While Daddy Vader reads, characters from the Star Wars universe appear, such as Yoda, R2-D2, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Darth Maul or Boba Fett, and the little ones gradually relax until they fall asleep. Brown's illustrations play with the conventions of children's stories.
It is the third installment of Jeffrey Brown's series about Darth Vader and his family, after «Vader e hijo» and «Vader y su princesita». Original title: «Goodnight Darth Vader».
Recommended for children aged 6 and up and for sharing as a family; it will appeal to young readers and Star Wars fans.
Jeffrey Brown is an American cartoonist born in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
