«Bulevard dels francesos» is a contemporary novel by Ferran Torrent, published by Columna CAT in hardcover (408 pages, in Catalan).
In Francoist Valencia of the sixties, three young communists break away from the Party's official line while the death of an heiress pits a police commissioner against the head of the Political-Social Brigade. A showgirl, a gentleman thief and the Baixauli family, touched by the Civil War, link that past with the present.
Published in February 2010, it is part of the Clàssica collection from Columna CAT.
For readers interested in ensemble plots and the historical backdrop of Francoism.
