«Busy Building Site» is Amanda Archer's children's board book with flaps, published by Ladybird in 2011 (12 pages, in English).
Builder Barney works on a busy site: he checks the plans, lays the foundations, mixes cement and builds walls. Each page shows labelled scenes, flaps to lift and a little hidden ladybug to find, with simple rhyming text.
It is part of the Ladybird Lift-the-Flap series and the Busy Books collection, alongside titles such as Busy Farm and Busy Zoo.
Aimed at children aged 2 to 5 who are beginning to read, with flaps and simple rhymes.
