«Caga, tió!» is the children's story by Javier Andrada, published by Barcanova in hardcover (14 pages, in Catalan).
The story introduces young children to the Catalan tradition of the tió de Nadal: it explains the ritual of covering the log with a blanket, feeding it, and hitting it with sticks while singing the tió song so it releases the turrones. Javier Andrada's illustrations show each step of this Christmas custom.
It belongs to the El Petit Univers collection, aimed at children up to 3 years old. The original edition was published in 2010.
Recommended for children from 2 years old and for young readers beginning to discover Catalan Christmas traditions.
