Synopsis of Candido

Cándido es una novela filosófica del escritor francés Voltaire, publicada por primera vez en 1759. La obra sigue las desventuras de un joven ingenuo llamado Cándido, quien es adoctrinado con la filosofía del optimismo por su tutor, el profesor Pangloss. A lo largo de sus viajes, Cándido presencia y experimenta una serie de calamidades que ponen a prueba su creencia en que "todo es para bien en el mejor de los mundos posibles".
