«Carla. Tots som diferents» is the children's story by José Luis Ágreda, published by Timun Mas CAT in hardcover (30 pages, in Catalan).
Carla, a preschool girl, lives alongside children from other countries. When a classmate draws her and says she will paint her pink, Carla wonders why people are depicted in different tones. Together they conclude that being different is a stroke of luck: a world without differences would be very boring.
Published in 2008, it is part of the Carla series, the first children's collection by José Luis Ágreda, commissioned by Timun Mas.
Suitable for preschool children; works well as shared reading at home or in the classroom to discuss diversity and coexistence.
