«Carta al Papa» is the essay in the form of an open letter by Lluís Busquets i Grabulosa, published by Ara Llibres in paperback (256 pages, in Catalan).
Open letter to Benedict XVI written by a critical believer. It denounces a Church that ignores Catalonia, is anti-democratic, sexist, attached to falsified readings of the Bible and far from science and the world. It calls for a welcoming, poor and humble Church, born of the experience of God. Foreword by Jaume Botey and epilogue by Arcadi Oliveres.
First edition published on October 21, 2010 in Barcelona. Subtitle in Catalan: «d'un creient crític amb motiu de la seva visita a Barcelona».
For readers interested in critical religious thought and in the relationship between the Church and Catalonia.
