«Carta al Rey de la Cabina» is the young adult romantic tale by Luis María Pescetti, published by Santillana Educación in paperback (104 pages, in Spanish).
Paloma, nineteen, channels her heartbreak by writing twenty-two letters and an epilogue to the «Rey de la Cabina», the man who left her to take refuge in a crane's cab. Between memories and silences, the young woman reflects on love and its contradictions in a poetic-toned tale that seeks to explain what has no explanation.
Published in 2017, it belongs to the Red Series of young adult literature, for readers aged fourteen and up.
Aimed at young people from fourteen, it addresses heartbreak and self-esteem from a poetic perspective.
Luis María Pescetti is an Argentinian novelist, essayist, musician and actor.
