«Cartas batuecas» is a collection of articles by Jaime Campmany, published by Ediciones Temas de Hoy in paperback (486 pages, in Spanish).
For eight years, Jaime Campmany sent these open letters to the press, reviewing Spanish public life with irony and humor. His addressees are politicians and other notables of the Kingdom, whom he criticizes, comments on or scolds with a mordant and entertaining style.
The subtitle on the cover is «Correo a políticos y otros notables del Reino». The book was published in 1995.
For readers of opinion journalism and political satire, and for those who want to learn about the Spain of that era through its columns.
