«Cartas de amor de músicos: Mi ángel, mi todo, mi yo...», by Kurt Pahlen, is an epistolary collection from Turner Música in paperback (384 pages, Spanish).
It brings together more than 300 love letters written by twenty-two great composers, from Mozart in the eighteenth century to Alban Berg in the twentieth. Through these missives, the daily life, feelings and dreams of the musicians come into view, as does a personal and often unexpected side of figures such as Beethoven and Mozart.
The work belongs to the Música collection and the translation is by Ruth Zauner.
For readers interested in classical music, history and the personal correspondence of the great composers.
Kurt Pahlen was an Austrian conductor and musicologist.
